    2. What do you love about your dance classes this year?

    3. What would you like to do after graduation?

    • I plan to go to school for Forensic Science!

  • 1. What do you love about dancing?

    • Activity is a way that I process my emotions. Dance not only does this for me, but it incorporates creativity and musicality. I can experiment with different moves and choreography, helping explore what I can do and how I can make things look beautiful or cool. I like that I can see the result of all the effort when I land a clean triple or watch a dance that we have worked on for months. I love how close of friends you can become with the people you are dancing with. Over time, you develop a feeling of a team, and when you get to that point, dancing is the most fun it could be!

    2. What do you love about your dance classes this year?

    • Like always this studio continues to offer awesome classes. I enjoy learning from each different teacher and their specific style, along with how they care about me as a person. I specifically have enjoyed dancing with some of my closest friends this year, doing something I love with friends that I love is truly awesome! Along with that, I am enjoying all the opportunities I have been given: to assist in teaching or to substitute teach, to join the 8:20 apprentice company, and to co-choreograph with other dancers at the studio. My senior year at the studio went wonderfully, and it makes me sad that it is over.

    • Dancing has always been a part of my life, and always will be. I can't remember a time where I haven't loved dancing. It's a way for me to explore how my body moves and how I can be creative. I love how there's so many different styles, techniques and cultures of dance. All of them are inspiring to me in unique ways.

I've been honored with the opportunity into 8:20 Apprenticeship Company. It's teaching me how to not only work as a team, but to also explore my own personal style into dancing. I'm blessed to have the teachers I've had in my life and the memories I've made here won't be forgotten.
